Salad Recipe

SALADS are the best accompaniment to any meal. As a matter of fact, a meal usually goes this way: a soup, a main course, a salad (on the side) and the dessert. Salads have become so popular that today they are the main course or a substitute for soup as the entrée. Nevertheless, there are healthy reasons why to have a warm soup followed by a salad – and everything has to do with the way we digest foods. We need our fresh vegetables, greens and fruits to form part of our daily meals. It’s most important to consider calories as well as the nutrition information of the food we are consuming; and here is where salads play an important role. Most people on the run want their hunger satisfied more than to have a healthy meal. But that is slowly changing. Salads are getting more interesting, and creative chefs are daily coming up with more variations for your enjoyment.

Remember it’s most important to eat balanced meals daily, drink eight 6oz cups of water and walk at least a mile a day!
